Gravel Mountain Member Report
Run on July 24, 2010

» Get Trail Information

We were really hoping that Gravel Mountain was going to give us some real challenges. North Supply Creek was fun and rocky, but this trail was actually marked as a 4x4 trail so we had high hopes.

We found the trailhead very easily as it was clearly marked. We climbed just a short bit and then it leveled off as we went through the trees. There were puddles here and there, and everything was in the shade of dusk.

We did find one very small section that gave us some fun. We crossed a creek and then climbed up and over some rocks to find the trail again. It was challenging, but not long enough to give us any issues at all.

It seemed to not take very long at all to run the whole trail, but it was different enough from Stillwater Pass to warrant its own trail status. It was a nice escape from the sleepy driving on Stillwater Pass.
