You can't beat the view from the end of this trail. It doesn't have too many obstacles, but the end of the trail makes it all worth the trip.
It starts near the end of the Rose Garden Hill trail, at a sign pointing the way to Top of the World. The sign is a little bit off of the trail, so you need to look in a little to see it.
There is a fork in the road where you need to take the leftmost fork. If you take the rightmost fork the trail becomes very overgrown and obviously not used in a long time.
There are some stairs and ledges here and there on your climb to the top, and some lines can be challenging because of sand at the bottom.
When you get to another fork in the road near the top, you can go either direction but it is typical to go right here. This makes a small loop at the very end, so you will come back to this point.
When you get to the end you should get out and walk. You can drive your vehicle out to the edge, then take pictures of it from another point on the edge. It's a spectacular image, with the huge valley about 1,300 feet below called "The Narrows."
If you look to the right you can see Titan Tower and Fisher Towers. Just below you is a series of rock formations that looks like a hand. The Onion Creek trail is also in this area.
If you go exploring a bit to the left of this overlook you can peer down a huge crack in the rock, all the way to the bottom.
This trail is a Moab standard that can't be missed.

From Moab, drive north to the turn off for Highway 128 that is just south of the Colorado River bridge on the north end of town. This is the same road that comes from the Cisco exit off of I-70. Take the highway 29.8 miles to the Dewey Bridge that crosses the Colorado River. Turn right on Entrada Bluffs Road. Take this dirt road 5.3 miles in to a turn right on a small road to find the sign for Top of the World.
Meet at the McDonald's at Kane Creek Road and Main Street in Moab.
